Aspley Athletics

Aspley Little Athletics Centre has for many years been concerned that our Senior Athletes have had to leave the Centre and Little Athletics at the end of the Summer Season of their U15 Year.
We have regretted having to end our association - in many cases a very long one - with wondeful people who enjoyed each other's company and showed potential to continue and develop (and enjoy), by participating further in the sport of Athletics.
While some continued School Athletics for a short time, most dropped out of the Sport because they missed the structured training, and competition and most of all the caring family atmosphere and friendships of their club.
In an Endeavour to rectify this, Aspley Centre in 2001 formed Aspley Athletics Club, which was incorporated on 7th August 2002 and is affiliated with Queensland Athletics, Kedron Wavell Services Club and Aspley Little Athletics Centre.
