Dear Parents Members

Make sure you take your turn when it comes around.

FUND RAISING is separate from the running of the program or ground maintenance. It is a completely separate issue and requires the support of all families; it provides funds to pay for such things as field improvements, coaching, storage sheds, lights, sprinkler system, public address system, equipment, field maintenance, etc. Your children already benefit from these assets which have been provided by the efforts of others in past seasons. We are still a long way from our ultimate goal which will eventually benefit your children's children.

Our real source of income for many years was the raffles each Sunday morning at the Markets. Unfortunately, with the opening of Sunday trading at our shopping Centres on 28 July 2002 this sources was lost and could not be replaced.

Kedron Wavell Services Club has stood behind our Centre over many years giving tremendous support in improving facilities and Coaching etc.

Kedron Wavell allocated to Aspley Centre their bussiest night Wednesday when they hold their membership draws, to sell "Kick in for the Kids" raffle tickets. Your support in selling those tickets throughout the year will ensure the continuations of the Kedron Wavells support for our Centre and our children.

Tickets sales start at 5:00pm and that Raffle is drawn at 7:30pm and those prizes are handed out at 8:00pm what is more, as a member of Kedron Wavell you might win a big cash prize in the membership draws which are held at 6:45pm and 8:00pm.

All you have to do is register your membership as you come in to do the raffles, the draws at 6:45pm is for $1000.00, $750.00, $500.00, $250.00 and $100.00. Make sure you stay for the 8:00pm draw which is for another $1000.00.

Rosslyn and Paula will be reminding team members early in the week of their Wednesday commitment. It is the responsibility of each person to contact Rosslyn or Paula if they can't make their commitment, which we hope will occur only when absolutely necessary. The financial well being of the club depends on the success of these raffles

Parents' participation is required during the off - season - it is an annual commitment. Remember those who don't fulfil their obligation create an additional burden for their fellow members. You are only being asked to give a maximum of 3 hours on Wednesdays during the coming year - please help us.

As you are all members of Kedron Wavell Services Club entitled to take part in those membership draws, you can attend and support our Raffles. Please help out if we call on you.
